About

The implementation of a website dedicated to Consumer Law represents another step in the IDC efforts towards the development of a legal field that, in spite of its unequivocal social relevance, does not always has the adequate attention from the courts, which are the protagonists in the application of the law. It is a fact that, despite several initiatives that different institutions have been promoting along the years, namely postgraduation, colloquia, training sessions, the Consumer Law is still poorly known, and consumer rights are therefore still unnecessarily being violated and ways of action are scarcely initiated.
